Please, I Need your ideas!!!!

Hey everyone, I was hoping to get some ideas from all of you!! I need some new fresh idea's of things to do for LeGrand for things like our Anniversary, Valentines Day, Birthday, Father's Day...you get the picture.... These could even be just because I love you ideas.... He is so creative and I love it...the only problem is I feel like I'm out of idea's... OK, I'm looking for thoughtful ideas, not necessarily something that you can buy(although that's an option too) ..maybe something you can do, something that comes from the heart. For example...on our 6th anniversary LeGrand gave me something that I'll always treasure. He gave me a journal, on the cover he had written ..."Reason why I love You". Everyday for that whole year he wrote in that journal why he loves me. It was so sweet and thoughtful...I love it....I know it's not a competition or anything but I want to do something for him that is thoughtful and amazing! I know you have great idea's of something that you have done or have been done for you. I think this could be fun especially when we all share our ideas!! Thanks in advance!! I can't wait to hear every one's ideas!! (Hint, the journal idea is cheep, thoughtful and if your honey is anything like mine he would love it...)

This isn't that inventive but for our last anniversary I made a movie of Stew's whole life. I had a ton of his baby pictures, school pics, mission pictures, dating, married pics, him as a daddy...It took forever but once I had all our songs on it and finished it was super nice. I think he loved i, there were a lot of parts where he was tearing up. I think it will be a gift that our kids will enjoy too in the years to come. They already love seeing pictures of their dad when he was a baby.

I know that something nice that my sister has done for me before, is go to shutterfly.com and made picture books. One of the cutest gifts Ryan ever gave me was a picture frame that folded out with two sides and on one side had pictures of me as a little girl and the other side has pictures of him as a little boy. I thought it was very sweet and thoughtful. I don't know how creative either of those ideas are, but I always enjoy anything that involves pictures. Hope that helps!

This is an everyday idea. Bake something that LeGrand likes and just take it to him as a surprise at work, maybe with a cute little note saying how much you love and appreciate him. I like to also leave short notes in secret places, like in his side table drawer or inside his journal, next to the toothpaste. It is fun to see when they get found. Sometimes if you pick a less frequented place it is weeks or months before it is found.

This one might not sound super meaningful but it is an expression of love. I don't remember if it was a birthday or what but I gave him a present and inside was new lingerie for me to wear. It wasn't pricey and Paul loved it.

It's great, when your not nursing, to let the children spend the night with somebody you trust. Don't tell your husband your plans and just stay home. It would be fun for him to come home with you waiting in lingerie especial if he is expecting just to have a normal night. Maybe have some rented DVD's and his favorite ice cream.....It's cheap, thoughtful, and something your husband is sure to enjoy and remember.
