Do you just keep them on a disk? Do you spend alot of money on going digital or do you just use the free stuff off the internet? What programs do you use to build your page?( Power Point.....??) I'm just clueless...but I'm having fun checking everything out... I could use all the help and advise you have...Thanks guys.....Please leave comments and share your knowledge!!(Especially you Janelle, Gwen, Kelly, Beth....and everyone out there that I don't know you do it!!) Sorry, I am no help..but I had to tell you how cute your family is in all your pics. I just caught up on your spring break. You always seem relaxed and calm.

I don't know how but I need you to help me once you figure it out. I still scrapbook the old fashioned way and it's starting to get hard to keep up and I make such a mess while I'm doing it, blah blah blah.
I've looked into making photo books on Kodak and Shutterfly websites, but that's all. So please share all you find out!

HI Becca, I like to use Microsoft publisher to build my pages. I make them into an 8x10 page, then when I'm finished, I save as a jpeg format, then I print them into an 8x10 pic at Costco for $1.49. I mount them on a piece of card stock and, stick them in my album. You could also put them into one of those books you can make and then send of and its made into a hard bound book. You just insert your page( saved as an 8x10 pic(jpeg) into a blank template. I totally don't spend money. I've been able to find so much free stuff that I haven't even used all of it yet. Hope that helps. I can't wait to see some of your work! Have fun with it! Gwen

Ok, well, don't buy anything. Go to Janelle Ehat's blog, she has a ton of links to get free digi stuff, my favorite is shabby princess. I also google things, for example, I had some pics of Ben and one of his friends dressed like pirates and had no pirate things. I googled pirate and looked up images and found a website that sold fabric and saved the images and used them as paper. You can save any image and use it. There is also an online store called little scrapbook shop or something like that and they have pictures of all the paper that you can save. You can also scan your paper and use it. As for programs, some people use adobe photoshop, Tyler bought me scrapbook factory deluxe for about $20.00 at Target and it is way easier to use and comes with tons and tons of stuff, more than I could ever use. As for size, I do 12x12 and save it as JPEG. I haven't printed yet, but you can print at Costco, the nice thing is, you can print it in any size. For now I'm going to save them on my computer and Costo, and to a disk when I get more made. I may print them in 8x8 or 10x10, not sure yet. To have them bound in a book is way expensive and you can't insert kids art work or anything you might want to add in, certificates, whatever. So, I want to put them in a traditional scrapbook!

all your digi scrapbooking questions can be answered by my friend Emily Shaw. if you go to my blog and click on her link you can ask her any questions. she is amazing at the digi scrapbooking. she wouldn't mind showing you one on one if you need. she uses photoshop elements.

I pretty much know nothing about the whole digital scrapbooking thing, but my friend Lara is way into it. She has tons of links to digital scrapbooking stuff on the right side of her blog. If you're interested in checking it out, the link to her blog is http://www.heizzyfam.blogspot.com/

Alright, so I'm putting together some "expert advice" for you but I don't have time to post it all right now. It's probably easier to email you with it. Send me an email and I'll reply back to it cause I don't think I have your address. mine is my first name and last name (all one word) at gmail dot com. I'm excited to see what fun stuff you do!

my friend emily just posted that she is starting a digi scrapping class in springville (her sis's house). i don't know the cost but i'm sure it's reasonable. you can click on her link and let her know you're interested (if you are) or you can let me know. just though i'd let you know!

Have you found a program that you like? I have looked into stuff as well (probably not as much as you!). I would love to know what you have decided to do. By the way, do you scan all of your old pics onto your computer? If you want to email me your response, it's CMDFamily@juno.com. Thanks!
