My Baptism

My Baptism day was so special because lots of people came to see me get baptized. My dad baptized me and gave me the Holy Ghost. When I got baptized I felt warm all over. When I came out of the water I felt like I turned into a new person because I felt cleaner. I felt happy. I know that the church is true. I know that Heavenly Father is happy with my choice to join the church. I know that my family loves me and is happy with my choice too. I want to be good.

After the Baptism we had a BBQ at our house, and just enjoyed everyone's company.

We enjoyed being together as a family....just playing with cousins, playing football, taking pictures of funny faces, having a water spitting contest, playing games....it doesn't get any better than this!

I don't know if words can express how I feel. It was an incredible experience to witness our first child getting baptized. As I watched LeGrand and Brayden enter the waters my heart was over flowing with gratitude. I'm grateful for this gospel. I'm grateful that LeGrand holds and honors his priesthood so that he can baptize our children. I'm grateful for all the family and friends that were there to support us, both in body and spirit. I'm grateful that we know that we can be together forever as a family. Feeling all these feelings made me want to be better. A better mother, wife, daughter, sister, friend and daughter of God. I have so much to be grateful for. It's day's like this that life feels perfect!!!

The easiest way to loose 8 inches...

A few weeks ago, Adelyn decided that she wanted to get her hair cut just like mine. I asked Tara to cut it, cause I've never cut an A line....She was so excited after we made the appointmanet she could hardly wait. I was excited too, but a little sad...I tried to not look down and see all of her beautiful hair on the floor, she got 8 inches cut off the front and 10 inches off the back.....No more braids or pony tails, but that's ok, cause she looks ADORABLE!!!!! Here are her before and after pictures.

I don't know why I was suprised about a week later when Sophie decided she wanted to get her hair cut too.... Sophie got 7 inches off the front and 9 inches off the back.... She is ADORABLE too!!

Sophie was so good and so excited about getting her hair cut. What a cutie!! I love your expressions Sophie!!!!

So, here you have it, my cute girls and I!!!! I was worried that a A line would be too much of a grown up cut for our little girls...but they look beautiful. It's flattering when you hear your girls say, "I want my hair to look just like my Mom's!"

If only loosing inches around my waist would be as easy as a haircut.....

10 Years down and Eternity to go!

Yesterday, LeGrand and I Celebrated our 10th Anniversary!!! It's hard to believe that a decade has past since I married my Best Friend! It has been a wonderful Life!!! (Engaged)

Way to Go BRAYDEN!!!!

About a month ago(June 7th) Brayden finished reading the Book of Mormon!!! Brayden just turned 8 (June 26th)and on July 11th he will be baptized!! He wanted to finish reading the Book of Mormon before he was baptized and he did it!!!! We finished it together as a family and then knelt together as a family to test out Moroni's Promise. It was so sweet to listen to Brayden pray and ask God if the Book of Mormon is true....then wait and feel the Holy Ghost. It was fun talking together as a family about the Spirit and recognizing it. We are so proud of you Brayden. This was a big accomplishment!! Way to go Brayden!!
