Our "Football" themed Halloween!!

Ammon & Kirsten and their kiddos, Mom & Dad & Whitney all came to our house for Halloween!!! It was sooooo fun!!! Halloween Day was filled with so many fun things...from Halloween parties at the school (don't ask why I signed up to be both Brayden and Adelyn's Room Mom...) from fun food, fun cousins, Grandparents, Aunts and Uncles...the day couldn't have been better. We wanted to continue our tradition of dressing up in a "Theme" as a family we decided to do a FOOTBALL theme!! Yup...we all did it!!! Brayden and Ethan were Football Players, Adelyn, Brynlee, Sophie, Hailey and Karli were our cute Cheerleaders, Kolby was the Football, LeGrand and I were the Ref's, Ammon and Kirsten were the Fans and last but not least Mom, Dad and Whitney were the "Chain Gang" I guess the only thing we were missing was the field and goal posts...jk!! Thanks everyone for being such good sports and going along with this crazy idea!!!
We were able to play, eat, Trick or Treat, visit Grandparents all together!! What a memorable day!!

Trick Or Treating!!!

Then of course there was all the Yummy Halloween Food!!
Our Jack O' Lantern Quesadillas
Our Mummies
Ghost's
Homemade Rootbeer

Ghosts in a Graveyard

What could you ask for when you have all this, Family, Food and Fun!!!!

So so cute! I love the costumes. Tyler was looking at your blog with me and we saw all the BYU clothes and he said, "Hey, these guys are Mormon! Who are they?" So funny! Your kids are getting SO big and they are all so adorable!

Your family always has the best theme costumes. Your Incredibles picture sits in a frame on my mantel year round!

Hey I just thought I'd say that I sent an email out to all the government people on that list from the email you sent out and I heard back from one of them! Like a real email, not a form thing. He said,

"Dear Janelle, Thank you for writing to me. I have been a very strong supporter of traditional marriage, and even back before I ever thought of running for office I was on the Prop. 22 campaign in 2000. During my 6 years in the Assembly, I’ve been not only a ‘no’ vote on same sex marriage legislation, but a vocal one at that. So, yes, I’m with you on this issue as it is the right stance to be for traditional marriage AND the people have spoken TWICE in wanting to keep it that way. Their views must be respected, not dodged with a team of high paid lawyers and legal tricks, nor by out of control judges making rulings against the will of the people. Thank you for writing and for being a strong voice on this important family issue, and please feel free to contact my office any time.

Doug LaMalfa

PS, I checked out your blog, you have a beautiful family. It sure underscores why this is so important."

The IP address that he visited from is listed as "Senate of California". Kind of cool! Anyway, I just thought you'd be interested to know that they DO read your emails and he responded about 10 minutes after I sent it! So it does make a difference!

Anyway! Thought you'd be interested in knowing that! Take care!

Seriously Becca-this will go down as one of our very favorite Halloweens. I am sorry it was so crazy and hectic, and you trying to balance having all of us company, planning room parties, dinner, etc but you really created such a fun day for us. Thanks so much for letting all our kids join all the festivities and the school and making sure that we felt included and had such a good day. You are wonderful and someday I hope we can live closer to we can do more holidays together. I love you sis!!
