The Apple

For those of you know our Sweet Sophie, you know that she's a picky eater.....during dinner tonight she was sad that no one was getting her food or at least food that she "likes". We started talking about all the foods that Sophie does like... Pizza, Spaghetti, Cereal, Vanilla Yogurt, Grapes, Bananas, Carrots, Crackers, Bread....(believe it or not the list could go on;))
Then I said, "Oh Sophie, you like Apples too."
Sophie said, "I used to like apples."
I said, "No you still like them, remember Snow White even loves apples." (this got her to try the apples in the first place and she's liked them ever since, I guess until today.)
This was Sophie's reply..."Well after Snow White ate the apple she died, remember?"
Oh Great.....now hopefully I can convince her that their really aren't "poisoned" apples so we can get back to one of her healthy favorites .... Wish me luck.

ThAnK yOu!!!!!

On Saturday night, I found a box on our doorstep... I was pleasantly surprised to see this box was from my dear sister in law, who just happens to be one of my very best friends, Kirsten. This is what was inside!!!! Holy Cow!!!!! I can't believe it, she made me a quilt!!! It's GORGEOUS!!!! I LOVE IT!!!! Kirsten, I can't even imagine the hours that you spend creating something so beautiful just for me!! Words don't seem to give justice to how amazed I am. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!! Jeanette, I know you helped Kirsten too. Thank you!!! Thank you for the adoreable cards too!! I love them!!! You both are truly talented, kind and generous friends. I love you guys!! Thanks for making me feel soooo special!!

Isn't it beautiful?!?!?!

Here are some cards that Jeanette made for me from their card group. That was so thoughful!!! Aparently I'm not the only one in the family who loves my new quilt!! I came into the room and found Kolby all wrapped up in my blanket, he did it all by himself. So cute!
Then every time I tried to lay the quilt down to take a picture of it Kolby came and layed on it....I'm surprised that I got 1 picture with out him on it.
The back it soooooo yummy!!! I love it!!!

72 hour Kits

We've been working on our Emergency Prepardness and it's been really fun. We still have a ways to go, but it's exciting to be able to say that our 72 hour kits are all together and up to date!!! It's hard to believe how many bags we have...I guess it's shows that we've officially got a big family.
I can't wait till we have more things in order....but I do know that if we follow the Prophets and do our best, we will be blessed!

Try, Try Again

Kolby decided he wanted to put these little sunglasses on all by himself.....He cracks me up.

Ok, Not quite.....Let's try again. You're getting there.
Almost.
This is the look I got when I tried to help. ;)
Finally, they are on, and boy am I so proud of myself. I knew I could do it.

Kolby, we know that you are capable of great things. If you never give up and try, try again you will be able to do incredible things in your life. Things even better than putting your sunglasses on all by yourself. We love you son!!!

Hiking the Y

Hiking the Y is such a fun thing to do. Every time we do it, I'm impressed with our kids and their determination to make it to the "top" of the Y. This time we had a 3 families that we love come with us! It made the journey even that more enjoyable!!!
Oh what a cute family!!

Brandon, Candace and Holly; yes they are some of our Favorite people!

The Stitts. We love you guys too and are so glad we are friends.

The Cooks didn't wait up for a picture...either they were so excited to get to the top, or they were avoiding the camera;) ....We love you guys too!!!

These Kiddos were troopers. They were all here except the 3 youngest...Kolby, Taylor and Caleb. I have to say, these kids are cute!
I love how dramatic Brayden is... he's such a cute little ham.
Love this Picture! LeGrand is such a good Daddy!

This was a welcomed sight..... we're almost there! Yeah we made it!! We've never done it before with 10 kids. How fun!
Sitting on the Y is such an amazing thing. I love the view, the sense of accomplishment. You can see 2 temples from up there, the Provo Temple and the Mt. Timp. Temple. We are truly blessed to be so close to Temples, for all of God's creations, for good friends, and an incredible family!!!!

Talk about BED HEAD

Adelyn woke up this morning with the worst case of "Bed Head" I've ever seen. I'm not sure what she was doing all night, but she came down stairs this morning looking like this.

After a Bath, Detangling Shampoo and Conditioner, and about 30 minutes of combing her hair and using a ton of Detangler this was the final product. Hopefully she sleeps more soundly and less wiggily tonight!!!

We Love you Adelyn, you are such a Beautiful Girl, inside and out!!!!!

The Hogle Zoo

During Spring Break we took a day off of all of our house projects to spend a day together at the zoo. The Kiddos loved it. Kolby was in heaven and tried to escape from us any chance he got...Thank goodness for the stroller and that we are faster than he is! We had a wonderful time together.

LeGrand is such a cute Daddy!! I love you Sweetheart!
Even though it was a little chilly, it was still a beautiful day.

I had to include this picture, just check out LeGrand. He's adorable. He makes life so fun for our family. He makes everything more exciting, more fun and more memorable. I love it!
I love going to the Zoo.
