Sunday Morning is usually quite exciting in our home. Trying to get everyone ready and to be on time to church usually takes some major effort. A few Sunday's ago I jumped into the shower while the kids were playing. When I got out I could hear bustling around and excited whispers, as I tried to come out of the bathroom they all yelled, "Mom, Don't come out. Don't come out until we tell you!!!" After I found out that everyone and everything was OK and that they weren't making a mess I stayed in the bathroom and fixed my hair and did my makeup... I was smiling to myself, wondering what they were all up to... Then I heard, "OK lets line up in order from Oldest to Youngest..OK ready?!?! OK MOM, YOU CAN COME OUT NOW!!!" I opened the door to hear a big "TaDa" and to see this!!!!
Adelyn and Brayden decided to get everyone ready for church to surprise me. I couldn't believe it. They had all got dressed, put their pajamas away, changed Kolby's diaper, put their shoes on and combed their hair (the girls thought that their hair looked good, but I did help them fix it a little better before we left.) They were all sooo excited to surprise me. They thought it was funny that I was the Last one ready for Church...they said that has never happened before.
I was sooo touched by their kindness and thoughtfulness that I was almost moved to tears. I also couldn't believe that our kiddos are getting sooooo big. Where have the years gone???
The kids always want to do a silly picture....so here it is. It's fun to see that Kolby really gets into it too.
Here is the final bow...well the boys are bowing and the girls are doing their curtsies...too cute!!
I love being a mother....I'm amazed at these little ones that my Father in Heaven send down to be in our family! Since they "Raised the Bar" and showed me what they are capable of, hopefully we'll be seeing lots more of this...Sunday mornings might not be so hectic around here....I can dream can't I??!?!
