Back to School Enrichment Night-Way Fun!!!

I'm the Enrichment Leader in our ward and we just had the funnest activity...so I wanted to share it with all ya all!! (Kirsten, I hope your proud of me, I took tons of pictures. If you want to see more that aren't on here let me know....) ;)Ok, as you can tell, we did a Back to School Night. This was soooo fun, not hard and everyone LOVED it!!
When the sisters walked in we handed them a schedule and a name tag...(see below). If you can tell the name tags assigned them to a "click". We had 8 different "clicks", Cheerleader, Geek, Marching Band, Gothic, Cow Girl, Jock, Greaser(shop girl) and Thespians. We met in "Home Room" for and opening prayer, the Pledge of Allegiance and announcements. Then we had 2 classes, lunch, then 2 more classes.

Here we are getting every thing ready before the activity. I have a Great Committee who did a lot of work!! Thank you everyone!! You were awesome!!

I wish we could have gotten everyone that was dressed up in this picture, but we did the best we could. From Left to Right...Amy-Principal, Cari-Goth, Candace-Geek, Emily-Marching Band, Tricia-Lunch Lady, Andi- Lunch Lady, Linda-Jock, Tina-shop girl, Me-Cheerleader...It was so fun, everyone totally acted their part so well....it was memorable!!

I love you Candace, I know you were trying to look like a geek, but man, you are a beautiful geek!!!

For "Lunch" we all went into the "Cafeteria" and we all had sack lunches. We sat with our "clicks". Every table was decorated according to the theme of the "click". We kept it simple, with no table cloths ect...so it would be more like High School. It was super good food, fun to sit with people you might not always sit by, easy clean up...It was awesome!

I was the luckiest girl ever!! I got to sit by our HOT Seminary Teacher!! I love you honey, thanks for helping me soooooooo much!!

These were the classes....

Seminary-Since I had major hook ups on this subject, we were able to get the hottest Seminary teacher around.;) Thanks again LeGrand!!!

Math- Alice taught our Math Class, it was a coupon class. She taught us how to build up our food storage for cheap!!! It was awesome!!! Thanks Alice, you went above and beyond!!

History- The Nillson's taught our "Family History" Class!!

P.E.- We did Ti-Chi for our PE class!!!

Since our Super Saturday which we normally do this time of year got vetoed I was totally bummed. I love Super Saturday, even when it's a little stressful to put together, but this activity was awesome to do!! It sounded like everyone had a blast and it was a big hit!!! Whoooaaa!!!!
I would definatly recommend doing it... except you might want to not be the cheerleader if you can help it... I serously don't have enough energy....I'm exausted after being a Peppy, Estatic and crazy Cheerleader all night long!!!!

Ok, now I'm looking for Ideas for Future Enrichment Activities.....Our next one is going to be a Christmas Breakfast Pajama Party...but it's not planned all the way and I need some good fun ideas... Of if you have any other ideas for next year, craft ideas, enrichment groups that you like....anything, I want to hear about it!!

Did you come up with this idea? It's SO creative! I think many many people want to do this activity now!!!
By the way, a family in our ward is moving to Springville. After they find a house I'll find out what ward they're in. Wouldn't it be funny if they moved into yours?

I'm sooo bummed that I missed it! It sounded awesome! I guess that's what I get for not being at church for two weeks! Thanks for the recap!

Looks like lots of fun, very cute idea! We do a lot of cooking stuff in our ward. We did one enrichment recently that was fairly simple, where we made re-usable grocery bags out of old t-shirts. I actually use mine as a beach bag and it works great!

Totally awesome idea! I'm telling the enrichment people! Did you come up with it or steal it? Just wondering because if you stole it, where'd you steal it:)
