Brayden's 7th Birthday

Happy Birthday Brayden!!! This post is only a month late but that's ok!!!! For Brayden's Birthday we had tons of fun...I wasn't very good at taking lots of pictures (which I'm bummed about...but hey what can I do about it now.)
Brayden wanted a Knight's castle, this was inspired by Adelyn's Princess Castle that she wanted for her birthday. I tried to talk him into a different kind of cake so I could try something new, but he was insistant on his cake and he loved it!!! Since earlier that week we had Adelyn's princess one which was strawberry, Brayden said we could make his a chocolate cake;) yay!! I think he did that just for me. It was yummy!!!

After the cake was finished our family went to the Veteran's Memorial Pool in Provo to celebrate. I actually forgot my camera, but this picture is at the Veterans pool a few weeks before Bray's B-day...so at least you can pretend with me...

After the pool we ran home,had dinner, then the Carters and the Flippen's came over for cake and ice cream, then we ran to Brayden's last baseball game....we had a fun day together as a family.

Some of Brayden's favorite things that he recieved were batting gloves, swimming goggles and fins, knee and elbow pads, video games, King Peter and King Edmund action figures with a King Peter sword, Money, some new shoes, a few new outfits...what a lucky boy!!!

Brayden, I love being your mom. You bring joy to me every day. You are growing up so fast and are such a good boy!!! I'm grateful for your sense of humor, you always make me laugh!!! I know that you what to do what is right and I'm grateful for that!! Thank you for being such a good example to your younger sisters and brother. They are lucky to have you as a role model!! It's so much fun to watch you grow and learn and have fun!!! You make me happy!!!

We made it home!!!

Oh it feels good to be home!!! We had a blast on our trip, but after being gone for 4 weeks we were all ready to sleep in our own beds!! Between loads of laundry, unloading the van, putting everything away, weeding our really weedy garden, re-reading Twilight....it feels like I may never get all caught up on our blog....just kidding, I'm working on some fun posts, I can't wait to share our adventures with everyone!! Hope your excited.....

Our Family Update

Just so you all know that we haven't fallen off the face of the earth I just wanted to keep you all informed that we are having a blast on our Big Family Trip!!! I have tons of pictures to post from Stew and Emily's visit, our Larsen Family Reunion, Our driving and camping, Missouri and Nauvoo and now we are here at Ammon and Kirsten's house here in Columbus Ohio!!! We are having a blast and I'll try to get caught up sometime in the near future...Paul just got here and we are having a blast with Whitney of course!!!! We are excited to be with everyone, and anxious and excited to direct EFY next week in Granville Ohio next week(thanks in advanced Kirsten and Whitney for watching the kiddos!!) We hope you are all having a fabulous summer!!! We are having fun and I can't wait to share it all with you!!

Wind Blown

In Jan I did a post called Blown Away...If you havn't seen it, you have to....it's really funny... Any ways, Brayden wanted to try it.... It's cute.....Oh I have the cutest family ever!!!

Kolby's 6 month's old

Here is Kolby's 6 month Photo Shoot.... I think this was one of my favorite experiences we have had at JCPenny...Or maybe it's just because the subject is sooo adorable!! There are lots of pictures, I just love all of them.

On a side note, something really cool happened when we were at JCPenny, we saw Elder David A. Bednar with his wife shopping...it was cool and it took me off gaurd. They were leaving and so we just watched him walk past and he opened up the door for his wife as they left. I was tempted to run after him with all 4 kiddos, but I thought twice about that and we just admired them from afar....Who would have though...I guess even members of the Quorum of the 12 Apostles need new clothes and dates with their spouses!!!

What a BIG boy!!!

Kolby is such a joy to have in our home. He is now sitting up as you can tell and he's getting stronger and more steady every day. Kolby loves to be cuddled and played with. He loves being a part of a family that adores him, he has someone loving him alot. Kolby loves to eat rice cereal, green beans and carrots...we are just starting to expand his horizions with food..but so far so good!!! Kolby we love you. You are such a sweet baby!!! Thanks for joining our family!!!
